A We Love Stamping è tempo di un nuovo challenge. Il tema di Maggio è "Vintage", scelto da Lynn. Resta comunque valida l'opzione Anything Goes. Vi ricordo che ci deve essere almeno un elemento timbrato all'esterno delle vostre creazioni, anche se non è l'elemento principale. Aspettiamo i vostri bei lavori! 😊
Io ho usato due timbri AALL & Create e un po' dei miei soliti bits&bobs 😅 per alterare una robusta scatoletta di cartone che avevo conservato. La scatoletta è diventata il contenitore di un quadernino per appunti handmade coordinato. Attenzione, post pesante, pieno di foto... ma quando uso tanti bits&bobs è sempre così...😐
Il timbro sul coperchio è Minutes in flight (ricevuto in regalo da una cara amica. Tu sai chi sei... Grazie!!!). L'ho sfumato con il Distress Ink Vintage Photo e tagliato con una bellissima fustella avuta in regalo da un'altra gentilissima amica (Grazie mille!!!). Nei miei cassetti ho trovato anche una penna nuova coordinata! 😄 Ho colorato la farfalla e il bordo con gli alcohol markers, poi l'ho incollato sopra ad alcuni layers, nell'ordine: un pezzo di carta di vecchio libro, gessata e inchiostrata con il Vintage Photo; la copertina a fiori di un vecchio blocchetto per appunti incollata su un cartoncino di recupero per dare spessore, a cui ho sporcato i bordi con il Vintage Photo; un pezzo di cartone ondulato ricavato da una vecchia scatola. Ancora sotto, del washi tape handmade.
Ho aggiunto tre "fiori a girandola" handmade (vedi questo post) sfumati con il Vintage Photo e decorati con mezze perle e una gemma a forma di fiore; anche il corpo della farfalla centrale è decorato allo stesso modo. Un cabochon con una farfalla in un angolo e uno sticker con un uccello in alto (a Natale Aurora mi ha regalato un set di stickers vintage 💓)
Al suo interno ho messo il quadernino per appunti e la penna.
Per le pagine del quadernino ho usato dei fogli da fotocopie tagliati su misura e piegati a metà, a cui ho sporcato i bordi (sempre con il Vintage Photo). Ho rilegato le pagine con uno spago da cucina e poi l'ho legate alla copertina con un fiocco centrale.
All'interno della scatola ho aggiunto un cartoncino color kraft (di recupero) timbrato con una tag che fa parte dello stesso set.
Per aprire più agevolmente la scatola, nel foro già esistente ho messo un washi tape sagomato (lo stesso che si vede sulla copertina del quadernino), piegato a metà su un cartoncino di recupero per dargli più solidità.

You put a lot of time, love, and detail into making this boxed set and it shows. I love your beautiful stamping, layering, die-cut frame, your gorgeous pinwheel flowers, and embellishing details. The butterfly in the dome is such a nice touch. I like making notebooks too - yours is so pretty! I love all of th butterflies. The pen fits in the box with the notebook perfectly - what a beautiful gift set! As always, your use of recycled items is so impressive! Thank you for your sweet note on my blog.
