Natale in viola

Dato che il tempo vola e questo inverno io non avrò molto tempo per il craft, ho deciso di iniziare a fare qualche lavoro per Natale.
Recentemente ho scoperto che mi piacciono gli sketch; per me è un'esperienza nuova e devo dire che seguire le regole non è poi una grande fatica come credevo LOL :D  Inoltre gli sketch mi aiutano a usare i miei avanzi e a non esagerare con i bits&obs...
Questa settimana Tuesday Morning propone un altro facile sketch (sketch #464)
 
Ed ecco la mia card (foto pessima, lo so...  Sorry! :(... Le prossime sono migliori...)
Ho usato degli avanzi di foam glitterato bianco (fiocchi di neve) e viola (lo sfondo dietro i fiocchi di neve), un pezzo di carta patterned nella quale ho tagliato i cerchi usando un punch.
I fiocchi di neve sono tagliati con una fustella brand Wiler. Ho tagliato due volte la scritta "peace" (fustella brand Fuzzy Lemon), una rosa e una bianca, incollando i sentiments uno sull'altro per dare dimensione e poi ho messo del glitter iridescente. Quando il glitter è stato asciutto ho messo ancora del Glossy Accents e l'ho incollata su una striscia di cartoncino bianco.
Ho incollato il pannello su un cartoncino bianco ed embossato nella parte frontale con l' EF Nordic Christmas by Crafter Companion, inchiostrando la cartella da embossing con il DI Dusty Concord prima di passarla nella Big Shot.
Poi ho incollato tutto su un altro cartoncino bianco, piegato doppio.
Nella foto qui sotto la mia card si vede decisamente meglio...!! :D

See how much fun sketches are? Glad to see another from you Alice as I just love this...I love the gorgeous snowflakes too. You once sent me some die cut snow flakes larger ones, and wondered what brand they were, if you can remember...hugs.xx

I'm so glad to see you playing along with the sketches again this week! I really like these great colors and those pretty white snowflakes sitting on top of the glitter! Fabulous interpretation of the sketch! Very tactile card with the lovely inked embossing, the wonderfully made sentiment, love the glossy accents over the glitter, and the beautiful glittery snowflakes. A fantastic start to your Christmas cards Alice. Debra x

You don’t seem to have problems with sketches at all. Funny thing, I started using sketches for quite the opposite reason, getting more stuff on. At least that’s how it started for me. It’s a purple beauty, love the embossed pattern.
