Adesso me ne è rimasta soltanto una e mi dispiace usarla...
L'ho fatta asciugare ben distesa e l'ho tagliata a quadratini.

I think you're incredibly clever Alice, very much so, I use a different recipe taught me also by an older lady with cornflour starch, you thicken it with warmed water and allow to cool. It works a treat too. 😊 Still use it on my doilies.
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

Well they look perfect pinwheels to me Alice! Wonderful tutorial. Your Grandmother was a very wise lady as I didn't know that was how you starched fabrics, very clever. You obviously take after your Grandmother having great ideas too :). Debra x
How cute are those pinwheels. I remember my avó using sugar too when she did not have corn starch. It's old fashioned but it works beautifully. I can't wait to see what you do with those little cuties. Have an amazing weekend, dear friend and wrap up warm!

When I saw this post I was thinking, there's those pinwheels I sent you. Wrong. These are the ones you made with mine as inspiration. I say mine, but they were bought in a store, not made by me. These look exactly the same. Or better:)
Well I think these look amazing, Alice! And what a clever idea to starch them - you achieved a beautiful result! I haven't tried making pinwheels yet - I love how these turned out!
