Tempo addietro, in uno degli innumerevoli 😊 challenges al https://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.com/ (il "vecchio" Snippets Playground, che ora è traslocato qui: https://pixiessnippetsplayground.blogspot.com/) avevo visto tra i Top picks una card con molte candele fatte di piccoli avanzi e mi era rimasta molto impressa: che idea geniale! 😃 Così ho voluto provare anche io. Purtroppo non ricordo il nome della crafter che mi ha ispirato e non trovo nemmeno il post con il link alla sua card. Se qualcuno ha il link me lo dica, sarò felice di dare i crediti.

Non smetti mai di stupirmi con la tua versatilità nell'usare i tuoi ritagli e avanzi. Questo è davvero carino e colorato, e fa un biglietto di Natale così adorabile.
Confesso di non essere bravo, ho paura di buttare via troppo perché sono un po' un maniaco del riordino, ne metto via un po' e poi mi sento frustrato con tutti i pezzi. Molto male da parte mia lo so.

Oh how CUTE is this card with all those colorful candles! I love that you used bits of leftover paper to make the candles and hand drew those flames! What a great idea for using snippets and I may have to try this myself one day! Inspiration goes a long way and reaches many people! It's always inpiring to see what can be made with leftovers, and I think this design with only paper snippets has turned out wonderful! Beautiful combinarion of colors and patterns.

You are right, that is a very clever idea, I don't recall seeing the one you refer to, but your take is just lovely. Great use of those scraps of paper and I love that your flames are all different sizes xx

Hello, Alice! What a beautiful way to use your scraps and snippets! I like the pastel patterned papers and how they coordinate so well together, although all different. This design of the candles could also be used for a birthday card, although I am not sure if birthday candles are a tradition in Italy. Beautiful work as always, my dear friend! I think of you often and have prayed for you many times. Sending hugs!

I send snippets of design paper and cardstock as well as stamps I no longer use to the Inuit in Nunavut...our Artic province.
I will include a photo of your card with my next box as it is a perfect idea for birthdays as well. It is very expensive for the people there to get supplies as the supply ship carrying all their food, goods etc comes in only once a year...
I use a flat rate shipping deal through our local post office. It takes a month or so to get there, but finally, they have some craft supplies...
