Quindi ogni tanto mi obbligo a gettare via qualcosa. Stavo per buttare via una scatola piena di etichette di cartone inutilizzate da anni, tolte da vestiti e da confezioni di prodotti craft, quando mi son detta: perchè invece non posso farci qualcosa ADESSO?
:D E così mi sono armata di gesso liquido, colori acrilici, pezzi di carta avanzati (stampe fatte con il gelli plate, snippets avanzati da card, vecchie pagine di libro, negativi di fustellate, ritagli di giornale...), qualche timbro e ho alterato alcune di quelle etichette creando delle textures. Mi sono divertita molto, e quindi la scatola piena di etichette è tornata in salvo nella mia craft room, dato che non è inutile... LOL : niente nella spazzatura, ancora una volta... e ho riciclato anche tanti piccoli avanzi di carta! :D
Ho usato i negativi delle fustellate come stencils, o li ho incollati direttamente sulle etichette. Con il senno di poi, avrei dovuto carteggiare i bordi delle tag, per un aspetto più rifinito, ma non l'ho fatto :(

Con questa tag partecipo al Butterfly Challenge #114 (imperial purple + image + butterflies).
Le farfalle sono ritagliate da una rivista. Sullo sfondo ho timbrato una rosa (brand Chocolate Baroque). Il sentiment "Ricordati di volare ogni giorno" l'ho generato al computer con Word e poi ritagliato. Ho aggiunto gocce random di Nuvo Glitter drops.

Lo gnomo e il fungo sono timbri trovati in una rivista, colorati con i Promarkers e ritagliati a mano; ho aggiunto dettagli con Nuvo Drops. Il bel fiore sullo sfondo con il gambo/sentiment ("believe") e i fiori e i cuoricini sparsi sono tutti timbri Unity, vinti l'anno scorso ad un Blog Hop sul sito di Becca (grazie!).
Ho aggiunto anche qualche piccolo pezzo di washi-tape a pallini multicolori e due farfalline tagliate con i punches. Il sentiment in alto è brand Crafter Companion.

Per lo stencil sullo sfondo ho usato Izink 3D texture paste. Ho lasciato trasparire il gesso bianco qua e là. La rondine è tagliata con un punch per 5 volte, incollando a strati per dare dimensione (l'ultimo strato è un avanzo di carta patterned). Il cerchio sotto la rondine è un avanzo di una timbrata di un fiore Chocolate Baroque fatta su cartoncino kraft di riciclo embossato con polvere oro.

From rags to riches... what a transformation, First from the bland original looks to fantastic backgrounds, which I must say looked decorative even before you started decorating them further. Especially the gnome one caught my attention, so sweet! Well done.

You can make something from nothing, and have it turn out fabulous! These tags are nothing short of amazing with all of the detailed work you put into them! The colors are gorgeous, and the butterfly tag is my favorite but they're all wonderful and turned out just lovely! Congrats on a job well done!
This is what I did in the past, but now have used all my labels up...brilliant idea with magnificent results, can't pick one as I am drawn to the lot.xx
Oh my goodness, from trash to treasure! Things we'd just toss out - you made beautiful! I love this! Wow, Alice! You transformed the label tags from trash to treasure! Now I think you are happy you did not throw them away! Your backgrounds on the tags are stunning! I love these colours, especially on the butterfly tag, which is my favourite! Absolutely gorgeous! The little gnome is cute too - love how the background has so much texture and interest! Your final tag turned out beautifuly as well - I love how you made the background and added the gorgeous die-cuts and beautiful stencilling! The musical bird makes me smile!
