Just be you- Mixed Media

Lo so, è un controsenso, ma sono fatta così... da quando ho pochissimo tempo per creare, ho sempre più voglia di lasciare la briglia sciolta alla fantasia e di "pasticciare" con i colori e i miei bits&bobs... senza progetti né vincoli in testa!  :D Anche se da qualche tempo riesco a fare progetti più puliti e semplici, la mia passione sono quelli "Full of Frills" perché mi sento libera! :)
Così, quando finalmente ho avuto due ore tutte per me, ho fatto questo pannello decorativo per la mia casa. (40 x 35 cm circa) :D
Non ho tempo per elencare tutte le cose che ho usato (stencils, fustelle...) e i relativi brands, ma se avete qualche curiosità scrivetemelo e risponderò...  Però metto un bel po' di foto, quindi mettetevi comodi. :D
La base che fa da cornice è un cartone di recupero, spesso e molto rigido, tipo chipboard. Per alterarlo ho usato moltissimi stencils, alcuni dei quali handmade, vari Distess Inks e acrilico color oro; ho fatto molti strati, perché non ero contenta del risultato... Poi con il biadesivo ci ho incollato sopra il layer "finto legno"
La carta finto legno fa parte di un bellissimo blocco My Mind's Eye (Brambled Roses 2), che ho acquistato in saldo tempo addietro.
Il quadrato centrale invece è cartoncino da acquerello molto rigido e texturizzato; lo avevo colorato con i Brushos molto tempo addietro, e per questo progetto ci ho solo aggiunto dei fiori a stencil. Sul sentiment ho messo del Nuvo Mousse glitterato.
Tutte le forme fustellate che decorano il pannello erano già pronte: le ho prese nel mio organizer per il recupero degli scraps, dove metto tutte le fustellate che faccio con la Big Shot e i rimasugli di carta; ho soltanto modificato i colori usando i D.I. o il colore oro acrilico. Non ho tempo per nominare una per una le fustelle usate qui, ma ve ne sono  Sizzix, Memory Box, Creative Expressions... e molte altre.
Anche i fiori handmade erano già pronti in una scatola: due li avevo fatti con il vellum e piccole perline al centro; tutti gli altri con la carta di un vecchio libro e colori spray.
Alcune foglie sono tagliate con i punches.
Ho schizzato del colore "random" con un pennello e acrilico arancione diluito con acqua.
Anche per appendere il pannello ho usato della carta... :D Infatti la "corda" in realtà è una striscia di carta strappata da un sacchetto del pane, avuto in regalo da un panettiere.
Ho spruzzato con acqua e colla la striscia di carta e l'ho attorcigliata strettamente su su sé stessa. Ho fatto due buchi nel chipboard, ci ho fatto passare la striscia di carta attorcigliata e ho l'ho legata con due nodi sul retro.

Wow, Wow, and more Wow! You made good use of your crafting time, my friend! This is a beautiful piece of wall art for your home! I love how many details there are to look at and enjoy! The handmade flowers and punched shapes that you had ready to use came in very handy and saved so much time by having them made ahead! I like to do this too! It's such a great way to use up scraps of paper! I am amazed at all the flowers and they seem to shimmer in the light, as does the awesome sentiment! Beautiful details on this beautiful wall decor!
