Per questo progetto 3D ho riciclato una grande scatola di biscotti (di cartone), alcune pagine di un vecchio libro, e un grande foglio di carta sul quale avevo pulito il rullo che avevo usato tempo fa per i miei
esperimenti con il gelli plate, gli acrilici e gli stencils handmade.
Ho usato anche uno dei favolosi stencils di
Gio (Giogiograft), che ho acquistato di recente: il "Rosone Art Decò".
Ho incollato "random" alcuni pezzi di pagine di un vecchio libro e ho aggiunto -sul coperchio, all'interno e sul fondo esterno della scatola- i pezzi più "interessanti" del foglio che avevo usato per pulire il rullo e gli stencils, come per un collage.
Su questo foglio, avevo anche aggiunto alcune forme di farfalle e di fiori, usando come stencils i negativi di precedenti fustellate ("diecut leftovers"...)
Ogni pezzo che ho usato per il collage è stato strappato a mano ed incollato con vinavil misto ad acqua.

Poi ho ricoperto di gesso liquido tutta la superficie della scatola dove non c'era il foglio colorato. Quando tutto è stato asciutto, ho usato lo stencil di Gio e i colori spray per coprire l'intera superficie della scatola, bordi compresi. Ho usato anche degli acrilici densi e una spugnetta per creare vari strati e tonalità.
Mi sono divertita molto ed è stato terapeutico usare i colori senza regole...!!

All'interno del coperchio ho aggiunto alcune forme tagliate con la Big Shot e fustelle metalliche Sizzix e Memory Box per simulare le erbe del prato, una libellula (fustella trovata in una rivista) e alcune farfalle tagliate con un punch.

All'esterno ho incollato una grande farfalla di cartoncino pesante (300 g) tagliata ed embossata con una fustella Sizzix (Tim Holtz) e colorata con i Distress Oxides.
Il fiore di juta è tagliato con Sizzix Bigz Gerbera; ho colorato la juta con i Distress Oxides, ho assemblato i tre strati e ho aggiunto uno strass al centro.

What an incredible treasure to create from a recycled biscuit box! The time spent making this must have been so time-consuming, but it turned out beautifuL! I especially like all the stencil work along with that burlap layered flower! Amazing!!

Bei colori e hai incorporato così tanta struttura e interesse. Sempre amo vedere le farfalle ei fiori come probabilmente sapete, fanno una scatola molto bella.

It's so inspiring to see the photos of the process. I never made something like this, I probably give up too early. Like, coming to the part of your first photos, I would think it's getting nowhere and give up. But you continue and create this magnificent end result.
