Tangram (giocando con un aquilone)

 
Giornata di pioggia, scusate se le foto sono brutte, ho dovuto usare il flash...
Con questo lavoro ho finito di usare i pezzi del Tangram che mi erano avanzati dai due lavori precedenti: il cigno e il gatto. Tutti i pezzi erano stati ricavati da tre avanzi di carta patterned incollata su un cartoncino molto spesso e tagliati con la fustella Sizzix Bigz Tangram.
Le misure della fustella Tangram sono abbastanza ridotte (circa 11 cm), ma usando i pezzi per comporre delle figure si ottengono disegni molto grandi. Il ragazzino che corre è alto circa 20 cm e il pannello completo con l'aquilone è alto 28 cm! Anche questo pannello probabilmente diventerà la copertina di un notebook :)
Ho sfumato sui bordi i pezzi del tangram con il DI Aged Mahogany.
Dato che uno dei triangoli piccoli con cui ho fatto le scarpe era azzurro, ho usato lo stesso DI per colorarlo e farlo diventare più scuro.
Le nuvole sono tagliate da piccoli avanzi di vellum, così come la base dell'aquilone.
La fustella per le nuvole e l'aquilone è Sizzix Framelits-Kites. Ho usato i markers per colorare la struttura dell'aquilone, i fiocchetti, il pezzetto di corda e lo sfondo centrale del sentiment (timbro LOTV).
La base su cui ho composto la scena è un cartoncino bianco A4 embossato con l'embossing folder Crafty Essential -Basket Weave. Per colorarlo ci ho passato sopra il DI Thumbled glass; poi l'ho incollato su due cartoncini, uno patterned giallo scuro e infine su un pezzo di una cartellina di Manila azzurra.

These tangrams you're making are so unique and so much fun too! I love the little boy running with the kite! It's so fun with all those different designer papers!! Love the kite and vellum clouds too! Well done my friend!

So creative, and amazingly designed using this Tanagram die (which I've never heard of). The papers you've selected to form the figure look just right see this running boy & his kite, and distressing the edges of each piece added great depth.What intricate details too. I LOVE the embossed background, such texture. The vellum clouds look so airy, and let the embossing behind them peek through the vellum too. This is just maybe one of your best pieces todate!!! I've never heard of Tangram before but you've definitely got the hang of it with your wonderful cards. You're so clever coming up with the designs made just from triangles. I love this design and the papers you've chosen to use. Debra x
