SUYP, il challenge a tema gatti - portato avanti da Fiki in onore di Ike, che ha lasciato questo mondo nel 2022 - celebra il suo 100 challenge e naturalmente non potevo mancare a questo evento speciale, io adoro i gatti! Ecco il mio contributo alla celebrazione.
Ho iniziato "pescando" un po' di bits&bobs che si erano accumulati sul mio tavolo: un pannello fatto di sottili striscette di carta avanzate (che accumulo nei miei raccoglitori) incollate su un cartoncino riciclato da una scatola di cereali; un avanzo di cartoncino verde già piegato ma con una delle due parti tagliata a metà (non ricordo il motivo); un avanzo di erba goffrata e colorata avanzato da una card precedente; due sentiments brand Apple Blossoms che avevo già pronti su avanzi di cartoncino bianco; fiorellini tagliati con i punches da piccoli snippets e conservati in un grande barattolo. Il favoloso gatto molto cool che sembra godersi una vacanza esotica invece è un nuovo timbro preso da Action. Lo adoro!! Anche la carta patterned che ho usato per l'interno e per la metà della parte frontale è presa da Action, un paper pad che mi piace moltissimo.
Ho colorato il gatto con le matite e l'ho sfumato con un po' di baby oil e un paper stumper, poi l'ho ritagliato a mano.
Sugli occhiali ho messo del glossy Accents, ho usato dei markers glitterati per aggiungere dettagli ai fiori e ovviamente ho messo anche delle gemme. LOL 😅
Lavorare senza progettare come faccio spesso comporta imprevisti...: dato che inizialmente ho incollato insieme il gatto e i due sentiments e dopo ho messo tutto sopra il pannello fatto di striscette che era più basso, la forma del risultato era un po' strana, quindi per coprire il l'interno della card ho dovuto ritagliare a mano la carta patterned dopo averla incollata (ho anche dovuto mettere degli spessori in alcuni punti). Una forma bianca, tagliata con una vecchia fustella brand Nellie Snellen, per scrivere un messaggio a mano e... finita!

Stamattina qui piove forte e poi ho visto la tua cartolina luminosa e soleggiata e la giornata è diventata più luminosa!
È semplicemente adorabile con tutti i colori allegri e solari e il gatto centrale con gli occhiali e la ghirlanda floreale è davvero divertente e ti fa sorridere. Così tanti elementi da guardare e vedo persino le strisce che lo rendono perfetto per la nostra nuova sfida Allsorts. Oh the coolest cat in holidays ever! In awe once again at your creativity and use of snippets. When I looked at that photo of bits and scraps, I drew a blank. You’ve used everything brilliantly… especially incorporating the colour orange! The glossy accents on the glasses is purrr-fect!
