Thanks for sharing how you build up this card, the end result is very impressive, so much to look at and so much detail. Wonderful colouring too. Great save with the stars and washi tape. It is amazing what can be corrected with a little ingenuity xx

Hello, my friend, and Happy Saturday to you! Your bird with the gift box is coloured so beautifully! I cannot colour so realistically as this, and I marvel at your colouring! I also marvel at your fussy-cutting, so perfect! I love all of the gold accents you added to the gift as it looks so elegant, as do the glitter drops on the leaves! You even coloured the die-cut poinsettias and again so beautifully with the added gold accents and gems! The fancy gold leaf is gorgeous! Brilliant use of your negative die-cut on two different patterned papers - it works! I like how the bird is eyeing the gold star! I did not notice the washi tape until I read about it; it looks like it was intentional and a lovely detail! I think this is one of your most beautiful cards, and you have made a lot of beautiful cards before, but this one is special!

I also want to thank you so much for all of the sweet and kind comments on my blog - I had a busy crafty week last week and made a lot of cards - I found so much inspiration everywhere! Today I am taking a break from crafting so I can visit my favourite friends! Brian and I read the very touching comment you left for his album page, and tears came to my eyes, and Brian was visibly touched as well. Thank you so much! His deep love for Snowie inspired his page, and you were able to see that. He told me he enjoyed colouring and he was so happy with how his page turned out, but he also said he misses Snowie so much, which brought more tears to my eyes. I miss her too, and Kiwi, and Muffin. Honeydew got extra cuddles and brushings today! Please give your kitties some cuddles and brushings today too! I hope they are all doing well.

I wrote a lot but want to send my love and hugs, and to thank you for being such a lovely crafty friend. I think of you often and pray for your wellness and strength to endure. I wish you peace and joy and many blessings, dear friend!

How completely darling! I love how you are able to create a scene using collage-like details, Alice! Like you, I enjoy recycling items from a host of "things" - this month it was using the textured aluminum seal/lid from my Whey Protein Powder to punch out snowflakes! LOL I am especially enamored by the coloring in your bird It's beautiful! The highlights in your red ribbon are realistic! Beautifully done, my friend!
Thanks for popping by my blog today and leaving such a fun comment!
