A We Love Stamping il tema di Settembre è "Anything Stamped Goes". Va bene qualsiasi progetto correlato, l'importante è che l'elemento focale delle vostre creazioni sia timbrato.
Il riciclo è sempre la mia fonte di ispirazione e questa volta sono stata catturata da una scatola di gelati! 😁 Mi sembrava perfetta per trasformarla in una borsetta in stile etnico, così ho iniziato coprendo le scritte con carta patterned. Quella con gli elefanti è brand "La Stamperia", l'altra è My Mind's Eye (Brambled Roses 2).
Le decorazioni sono timbri brand Dove of the East, stampate su avanzi di carta bianca, colorate con gli alcohol markers (anche su queste ho colorato lo sfondo con un Distress Ink) e poi ritagliate. Il finto pizzo in alto è una fustella di Tim Holtz.
Ho fatto altri due buchi e ho messo gli eyelets anche sulle due alette superiori; ho fatto passare un altro pezzo di cordino di iuta a cui ho aggiunto una perla di legno recuperata da una vecchia collana e una nappa azzurra (ho colorato la parte metallica con un marker rosso)
Sul retro, altre due perle di legno scorrevoli permettono la chiusura della borsetta/scatola

Sono sbalordito dall'arte della tua creazione questo mese, l'immagine della signora Indigo Blu (credo) e gli elefanti insieme al design hanno una vera sensazione di tempi passati, quasi indiana con i colori e le immagini.
Spero che le cose vadano meglio con te ora e che la tua mamma stia bene come può essere, tutta una tale preoccupazione per te.

You always amaze me with the things you create from items we normally just toss in the trash! The details are simply amazing with all those added elements - especially the bearded lady! LOL Love the elephants and I also love those Magnum ice cream bars that come in the packaging! YUM! A fun and creative little purse and a job well done with your crafty items!
