Oggi grandi novità! 😀 Sono molto emozionata: Brenda mi ha chiesto di essere DT per We Love Chocolate Baroque!! 😁 Wow!!! È davvero un grande onore per me!! I timbri di questo brand sono di ottima qualità e molto belli, ne ho parecchi nella mia collezione ed è sempre un piacere usarli! È la prima volta che faccio parte di un Design Team e ne sono molto fiera! Spero di essere all'altezza della situazione!!!
Ed ecco la mia card come ispirazione. Il tema del challenge di Novembre è "Natale". Non ho timbri natalizi di Chocolate Baroque (devo provvedere!! 😄), così ho cercato di pensare un pochino fuori dagli schemi e ho adattato il timbro Tangled Birch che avevo acquistato l'anno scorso.
La mia card ha la parte frontale trasparente, ma non è acetato! 😊 Curiose? Leggete più sotto 😉
Ho
stampato gli alberi di Chocolate Baroque e li ho embossati con polvere argento; ho colorato i tronchi con i Promarkers nei toni del blu, acqua e turchese; poi li ho
ritagliati a mano, lasciando in basso uno spazio bianco a forma di collinetta. Mi piacciono le tonalità di blu abbinate al bianco per le card natalizie, mi danno la sensazione del freddo e della quiete. Mi piacciono anche molto gli zentangle e questi tronchi sono davvero scenografici!
Per lo sfondo ho sperimentato una tecnica nuova, che ho visto in un video di Jennifer Mc.Guire e che mi è piaciuta moltissimo: ho preso una taschina trasparente per plastificatrice, ci ho sparso dentro un po' di minuscoli cerchietti che tagliato con un punch da un avanzo di carta bianca, ho aggiunto qualche pizzico di glitter abbastanza grande, poi ho inserito la taschina nella plastificatrice calda e... Voilà! 👍 Finta neve che cade dal cielo su uno sfondo trasparente! 😉😁 Mi piace molto l'effetto!
Dato che avevo la plastificatrice sul tavolo, ne ho approfittato per preparare altri fogli plastificati con inserti, usando piccole paillette di diversi colori e forme e e glitter. Li ho messi da parte per usi successivi. Sono utili anche come base per le shaker cards.

La tua prima creazione come membro è assolutamente bellissima, la forma del tunnel è così diversa e mostra così bene il timbro Tangles Birch. Il frontale trasparente è un'idea super con la neve e dà davvero la sensazione invernale, che modo intelligente per crearlo. Non so se in Liguria nevica mai, mi chiedo?

I am impressed that you tried Jennifer McGuire's laminator technique - it looks wonderful! I love how you coloured the zentangle trees - the colours are perfect for Christmas! All of your die-cuts work so well together to make this beautiful scene! I LOVE your card, also so impressive that you were able to make a Christmas card when having no Christmas stamps by this company! Way to go, my friend, so happy for you and so admire your creativity! Congratulations, Alice! You knocked it out if the park with this beautiful laminated see-through Christmas card. Fantastic job stretching the Tangled Birch stamp to suit the theme and it worked brilliantly. I’ m not familiar with the We Love Chocolate Baroque brand, so will have to check it out.
