Aurora: pesce sul fondale marino

Il giorno in cui è iniziato il lockdown in tutta Italia la mia nipotina era ospite a casa mia, e lì è rimasta per un bel po' di tempo. In quei giorni ha creato diverse cose e piano piano le pubblicherò. Abbiamo anche avuto un nostro challenge personale: creare qualcosa "pescando" solamente dallo scatolone degli avanzi. Dentro lo scatolone ci sono pezzetti di ogni genere, perchè come già sapete io sono un'accumulatrice compulsiva LOL  😄
Questa card di Aurora perciò è fatta interamente di avanzi. Nessuno spreco e costo = zero 😉
Le due strisce variamente colorate in alto e in basso sono avanzi di un cartoncino che avevo colorato con gli Oxides. Il pesce è un timbro Chocolate Baroque che avevo stampato ed embossato su una card, insieme ad altri. Purtroppo però l'avevo timbrato capovolto 😞 e quindi la card non era mai stata finita! Aurora ha ritagliato il pesce e lo ha colorato con i Promarkers. Lo "scoglio" è un pezzo di cartoncino corrugato che avevo salvato da una confezione di grissini. Con un avanzo di foil metallico dorato e un filo di colla ha creato i riflessi.
Il cerchio scallop invece era una prova di taglio fatta con un punch su un cartoncino di recupero (il retro era una timbrata venuta male che risaliva i tempi in cui ancora non possedevo una stamping platform). Aurora ci ha incollato il cartoncino corrugato e ha rifilato i bordi. Ha creato le alghe con i Distress inks, usando come stencil il negativo di una fustellata (Sprig -Creative Expressions) preso dalla scatola degli avanzi. Anche le stelle marine sono fatte allo stesso modo.
Ha usato l'avanzo di foil metallizzato sul bordo delle stelle marine e per fare le bolle.
Ha incollato tutto su un cartoncino arancione che era finito nella scatola perché aveva una macchia in centro. Gli angoli in basso sono stati arrotondati.

I'm so glad you and Aurora had each other to spend time with during the lockdown! She's learned a lot from you in wasting nothing and using everything to create something beautiful! This is so pretty in the way she put it together, using up all those wonderful pieces together! She did a great job with creating her underwater scene!!
