Natale a Novembre (4)

Questa card in stile un po' vintage è stata molto veloce da fare, perché ho semplicemente messo assieme alcune cose già pronte.
La base è carta patterned double-face da 270 grammi, piegata a metà.
Il background metallico azzurro è fatto riciclando un coperchio di una teglia di alluminio usa e getta, embossato e colorato con gli alcohol inks. (Questo background è uno di quelli che ho mostrato nel mio precedente post)
La scritta Joy è ricavata da un avanzo di cartoncino bianco, tagliato con una fustella brand The Works che ho vinto tempo addietro ad un Blog Candy sul Pixie's Crafty Workshop della gentilissima Diane (GRAZIE!). Anche i fiocchi di neve fanno parte della vincita e sono ricavati da snippets di carta bianca. :D
Anche il cartoncino marrone chiaro (Core Cardstock by Tim Holtz) era già pronto, era già embossato con una cartella da embossing trovata anni addietro in una rivista; l'avevo anche già carteggiato per far emergere il bianco.
Ho semplicemente tagliato l'interno con la fustella Erin by Creative Expressions (Sue Wilson) per mostrare il background metallico.
La stellina con il fiocco è brand Memory Box.
All'interno ho incollato la forma marrone avanzata dalla parte frontale della card e ho aggiunto altri tre fiocchi di neve.

Che bella miscela di colori e dà davvero una bella sensazione vintage. La profondità del colore con i pannelli rialzati attira davvero l'attenzione sull'elemento focale e sulla sensazione di gioia.

E che bella idea lucidare alcuni elementi per far risaltare il bianco, ho pensato che all'inizio fosse un inchiostro bianco, anche le stelle sono molto delicate e danno una dimensione in più a una cartolina di Natale così bella.

Sono così felice di sapere che la pioggia e le alluvioni non ti hanno causato troppi danni e prego che il tempo migliorerà in Liguria.

The recycled aluminum lid looks amazing with it's embossing and metallic blue color!! What a fantastic and dazzling piece of eye candy for the center of this wonderful card! It's a true beauty and someone is going to marvel over receiving this one :)

Wow, Alice, this looks amazing! This is one of my favourite colour combos, especially for Christmas cards! I love to see what you have done with your alcohol ink background! I found it interesting how you used the embossing folder and then sanded it to get the beautiful effect. I remember this technique and must try it again! It is fun to read about the prizes you've won - well deservved, my friend! Enjoy!
