Anni addietro avevo embossato alcuni coperchi di teglie di alluminio (
qui il post) e li avevo colorati con gli alcohol inks. Questa estate ho voluto ripetere l'esperienza con Aurora e anche lei si è divertita moltissimo!!

Abbiamo "pasticciato" tutto un pomeriggio, con un telo di plastica sul tavolo e guanti per proteggere le nostre mani

Abbiamo prodotto un bel po' di sfondi (utili per card e mixed media!), usando sia i coperchi delle teglie di alluminio, sia carta fotografica.

Finalmente ho avuto il tempo di ridurre le foto e ve li mostro.
Attenzione, post pesante, ci sono molte foto.
- Con i coperchi delle teglie di alluminio (i coperchi hanno il retro in cartone, quindi sono molto spessi, perfetti per l'embossing!):

I lllllllove your aluminium backgrounds (of course the paper backgrounds are fantastic too).
Just one thing: If you use acrylic colours, you must be careful that you can use them on aluminium without gesso (some brands permit it -but most of brands need gesso first).

You and Aurora did an amazing job. Beautiful backgrounds. Only you would think about using aluminum trays. The thickness gives sturdiness... such a brilliant idea.
Hello, Alice! I love seeing all of these amazing backgrounds that you and Aurora made with alcohol inks and aluminum lids with embossing! They all turned out beautifully and all so different! You will be able to use them to make gorgeous projects and I will look forward to seeing them! I need to spend a day like this, just having fun and getting inky! These all look amazing. I don’t have any alcohol inks, haven’t been sure I needed them. Now I know I do. These backgrounds are great starting points for your creations.
