lasciati guidare dal bambino che sei stato

Avevo tenuto da parte una card commerciale con un bel sentiment: una citazione di Josè Saramago che dice "Lasciati guidare dal bambino che sei stato".
Sono convinta che se tutti gli adulti ragionassero con il cuore, con le emozioni e la fantasia dei bambini, il mondo potrebbe essere migliore...  ;)
Ho riutilizzato la card per darle un nuovo look, molto velocemente. :)
Mi pare che potrebbe essere una buona card maschile e - forse - anche una CAS :D .
Ho tagliato l'immagine con la citazione usando la fustella più grande del set Sizzix Framelits Die 8PK - Tags, Rounded.
Ho piegato un cartoncino a metà e con la stessa fustella ho creato una finestra nella parte frontale. Ho colorato la parte frontale con i Distress Inks (Old Paper, Stormy Sky e Bundle Sage) per riprendere i colori dell'immagine.
Per aggiungere interesse ho incollato due sottili leftovers (avanzi di un taglio con un punch per bordi) sopra e sotto all'apertura.
 
Ho incollato l'immagine all'interno della card e ho disegnato il bordo tutto attorno alla forma con un pennarello nero sottile.
Finito :D

It's a beautiful quote and I believe it, too. I'm glad you repurposed the card because the word needs to be spread around. This image certainly takes me back to my childhood. Thank you for playing with us at Double D!

That's a wonderful quote, and I agree with you on your thoughts :) The merry-go-round looks fun and was always my favorite amusement ride when I was a child. I love how you gave the card a window for it too - it's almost like stepping back into time for me :) Well done!
