Libertà è un gatto nell'erba

Tempo fa ho visto questo gatto di Indigo Blu in una card di Gio e me ne sono immediatamente innamorata. Non soltanto perchè amo i gatti, ma anche per la sensazione di libertà che mi dà quest'immagine. Così alla prima occasione l'ho comprato. Quando ho provato il mio nuovo posizionatore per timbri handmade, ho stampato il gatto direttamente su uno sfondo che avevo fatto con i Distress Ink e uno dei favolosi stencil di Gio: foglie zen.
Per verificare che il cartoncino non si spostasse e che il mio "MISTI DYI" funzionasse a dovere, ho ripetuto la timbrata tre volte, probabilmente troppe... Però mi piace l'effetto, nonostante che sia venuto fuori molto più scuro di quello di Gio e che si intraveda qua e là lo sfondo a stencil all'interno della timbrata.
Così ecco i dettagli della mia card "bits and bobs"...
Sfondo: Cartoncino bianco da 300 g. piegato a metà, colorato di verde con i Distress ink Crushed Olive e Mowed Lawn, + spruzzate d'acqua + un po' di Brusho's qua e là....
Il layer a stencil con il gatto è uno scarto: l'avevo tagliato in precedenza con la fustella CreaNestLies XXL no. 25 su un cartoncino bianco, ma una parte si era rovinata... così  l'ho accorciato e riutilizzato usandoci sopra lo stencil Foglie Zen di Giogiocraft + Distress Inks.
Bordo a sinistra: washi tape bianco e nero + un nastro di organza verde oliva scuro; Le foglie bianche sono tagliate da piccoli avanzi di cartoncino con la fustella Creative Expression Faux Quilled Leaves (Sue Wilson); l'erba (un avanzo di cartoncino anch'essa) è tagliata con Signature Dies -Herb Garden SD414, colorata con i Distress Inks; la farfalla di legno è un bottone (uno dei piccoli abbellimenti a tema "farfalle" del premio che ho vinto al Butterfly Challenge#55  http://butterflyspotchallenge.blogspot.it/)
In basso a destra: il fiore azzurro l'ho fatto con il kit Heartfelt Botanical Roses, mentre i fiorellini gialli sono tagliati con Creative Expression Finishing Touches collection- Petite Peony Cluster (entrambi fatti con piccoli pezzetti di cartoncino e colorati con i Distress); la timbrata nera sul bordo è fatta con un timbro brand "La Stamperia" e il Memento nero.
In alto: timbro brand "la Stamperia" già utilizzato in verticale nella parte bassa della card; uccellino di Crafty Individuals (è un avanzo riciclato: è solo una piccola parte della fustellata fatta con Victoria Corner, che si era rotta); sentiment di Lily of the Valley su un cerchio tagliato con un punch EKSuccess; strass azzurri cangianti per "aggiustare" le linee visive
Le stupende farfalle stickers 3D olografiche provengono - come il bottone di legno- dal sacchettino di yuta ricevuto da Mrs. A. come premio per il Butterfly Challenge#55 (GRAZIE!)

Alice, I love, love, love this! Such a cute kitty stamp! Your stencilled background is gorgeous - such a beautiful colour combo! I enjoyed looking at all of your lovely die-cuts and how you coloured them! Beautiful details on this card - the 3-D butterfly stickers are wonderful! Looks as though your new DIY tool is working perfectly. What an unusual look you've created for this kitty, as it looks like he's hiding in the grass background! How cute. Love that stenciling look, and wonderful to read all the great products used to create the fabulous look. Also fun to read how you saved a boo-boo and still made it work for you on this card. Cioe' il mio timbro preferito ( da ricomprare mannaggia) e il mio stencil preferito. E' bellissima, Alice! Che bei dettagli e diciamo che il tuo misti funziona alla grande, mi sembra molto a fuoco , seppure timbrata 3 volte. Ieri ne avrei avuto bisogno, ti ho pensata molto ;-)

Your new stamp positioner is a HUGE success. I love the cat ... he looks so innocent with a mischievous sparkle in his eye. Oh, this cat image is fantastic, so realistic, look at his concentrated facial expression! I think your own made misti helped you get this image very clear and evenly stamped. I don't think I'll make one myself but I'm planning to buy one. I'm lazy, lol. I really love this card and your mix of colors.
