I love Gorjuss

Ieri sera ho lavorato (...forse è meglio dire giocato!) con un bellissimo timbro di Gorjuss e ho preparato un'altra card per Natale. Generalmente non amo i timbri con le bambine senza bocca, mi ricordano le troppe donne e bambine che non possono difendersi, che non possono far sentire la loro voce, i loro diritti negati... :-(  Non amo la Tilda, ad esempio, e credo di essere una delle poche. Però sono innamorata delle bambine di Gorjuss, quelle le adoro!
Per questa card ho usato il timbro "On top of the word". 

Ho timbrato su carta lucida e ho colorato con gli alcohol ink e un pennello sottile: volevo un effetto "vetroso". Poi ho ritagliato a mano la timbrata (togliendone alcune parti) e l'ho resa ancora più lucida con una passata di gloss. Lo sfondo dietro la bimba è embossato e colorato con il Distress ink. Sopra ci ho posizionato lo strato in cartoncino pesante da acquerello con l'apertura sagomata (è un negativo avanzato da una precedente fustellata).
La bellissima stella cometa è glitterata e luccicante, fa parte dei miei abbellimenti e ci ho messo "seduta" la bimba con il biadesivo spessorato; è difficile rendere i riflessi in foto, qui la cometa sembra un po' arlecchino...

Ho usato il biadesivo spessorato anche per mettere in evidenza il cuore.
Prima l'ho tagliato ed embossato a freddo con la fustella Sizzix Heart-English Rose, poi a caldo, premendolo sul tampone clear ed aggiungendo la polvere da embossing sparkle, infine l'ho spennellato con il gloss e ho aggiunto gli strass.

Ho usato il biadesivo spessorato anche per il sentiment e per alcuni abeti stilizzati, che ho fustellato con la Sizzix Trees, Leafy (adoro questa fustella!).
 

In basso ho messo una sagoma ritagliata a mano, per simulare le collinette di neve e disporre alcuni alberi in secondo piano. Ho completato con un bordo di cartoncino bianco, molti strass, un fiocco verde di organza al centro e una piccola renna. Ho incollato la card su una carta pattern stampata al PC e poi ho sovrapposto il tutto su un altro cartoncino bianco.

Alice, condivido in pieno la tua riflessione sulle donne senza diritto di parola e, in generale, credo che anche le nostre azioni più piccole e apparentemente insignificanti possano avere un forte valore simbolico. Detto questo, devo dire anche che però la Gorjuss piace tantissimo anche a me...
Adoro questo biglietto! Hai fatto un lavoro enorme (ehm... ne so qualcosa... e tutti i dettagli sono bellissimi. Poi hai unito varie tecniche (per esempio per il cuore bianco) e questo dimostra la tua grande capacità tecnica (ma lo sapevamo già...!).
