You're not hopeless, I admire how resourceful you are about saving and repurposing things rather than throwing them away. Our planet would be in much better state if we all took your ideas and applied them to our daily lives to save waste! I like how you used that pretty dsp to showcase the negative bird image, and those tiny little strips of cardstock make this so special too! Well done and thanks for inspiring me not to waste so much!
RispondiEliminaLovely card, thanks for joining us at craftyhazelnuts PP Challenge, xxx
RispondiEliminaI think I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve used a negative die cut. Most of the time I will cover the whole piece of paper with dies so I se,l get a ‘framed’ negative cut. But still, it is a clever way to use your stash in different ways. I think all the paper and elements here look very natural together.
RispondiEliminaLovely card with great papers and a great use of the left overs for the bird.
RispondiEliminaThank you for joining our Things with Wings challenge at Allsorts.

Your recycling of 'negative bits' is always so amazing. You've put together such a pretty card, with loads of color, pattern and texture. It's always such a treat to read your post and discover how you've taken specific 'found' items and then created a lovely card. TFS & Hugs

MAGNIFICENT USE OF YOUR NEGATIVE DIE cuts Alice, I am absolutely loving this one and the music behind the bird is brilliant as birds do 'sing'...love the sentiment.x

RispondiEliminaMattina Alice,

This just beautiful Alice! Your recycling has been a complete triumph with this card design. The negative cut looks wonderful inked and with the perfect choice of paper for a singing bird behind. I love the glittered Nuvo drops on the branch, such a lovely detail. The paper with leaves is another great choice and goes so well with the rest of the layers. The strips of embossed paper does look like tree trunk another great idea. The finishing touches of the flower and sentiment complete this gorgeous design. Love it! Debra x
