Ho colorato la scenetta con gli alcohol markers poi ho aggiunto una caffettiera e un macinino da caffè antico (due clip art che avevo sul mio PC, stampati, colorati con le matite, ritagliati e incollati. La scritta "Coffee" l'avevo fatta al PC tempo addietro, mentre "I 🖤" l'ho scritto a mano su un minuscolo snippet con un pennarello sottile. Ho disegnato un doodle disordinato sui bordi. Ho aggiunto due strisce di carta bianca avanzate (altri snippets) colorate con il Distress Ink Ground Espresso e uno stencil. Ho goffrato un avanzo di cartoncino bianco colorato con il DI Vintage Photo, usando una EF brand Crafter Companions e poi l'ho nuovamente sfumato con il DI Ground Espresso per far emergere la tessitura della finta iuta. Ho assemblato tutto su un cartoncino bianco che ho ricoperto con la copertina di un vecchio calendario (regalatomi dal negoziante che mi vende il caffè macinato fresco!😉) e ho arrotondato i due angoli esterni con un punch.
Ho creato anche la busta con un foglio di carta da fotocopie e ho ripetuto il motivo dei chicchi di caffè con lo stencil.

What a great card Alice - that would be me on the mornings, only it would be a cup of tea - and NO curler either. It's a fun card and really made me smile here. Very cleverly designed and made as well as using a few snippets along the way!Little Dudley is beside me as I type, sleeping off his injection from today at the vet - it's for his own protection but I do feel bad!

Che creazione super divertente con così tanti dettagli e attenzione al caffè. L'immagine ti fa sorridere e penso che molti di noi abbiano proprio questo aspetto quando ci svegliamo. I chicchi di caffè sono perfetti per costruire la scena.
Quando ero giovane, la famiglia di Luciana (vicini di casa del nostro piccolo paese e mia amica che è tornata a Compabasso quando si è sposata) aveva sempre una pentola uguale a quella sul fornello e sempre il delizioso profumo del caffè. Tuttavia, semplicemente non mi piaceva il gusto, non ho mai nemmeno bevuto il tè (sono allergico al latte). Solo molti anni dopo, durante il nostro primo viaggio a Venezia, una sera ho bevuto un po' troppo vino e il cameriere mi ha portato un espresso. L'ho adorato e ora la mia macchina bean to cup occupa un posto d'onore in cucina e ogni mattina quando Vado al computer per commentare verso le 6 del mattino, mio marito me ne porta una, poi un'altra tazza per svegliarmi.
È così bello rivederti ad Allsorts, grazie.

I think most of us can relate to this image of how we look in the morning before sipping that first cup of coffee to bring us back to life again LOL. That old calendar sure came in handy to make this card with all the fun coffee beans and I just love how you put this whole thing together. As I sit here writing, I hear my coffee pot making my first cup of coffee. Have a great Sunday and here's to a good brew first thing in the morning! Hugs across the miles dear friend :)

I love those deary doll drawings and have used them several times. Don't think I have seen this one though. It is great and you have coloured and framed it brilliantly. Coffee is a very special thing and everyone has their own preference xx

What a terrific card Alice I love that image and those added embellishments I am also loving that fab background of coffee beans and hessian makes me feel like a coffee I can almost smell the beans being grinded, lol.
