I pezzi del Tangram sono quelli avanzati dal lavoro precedente: li ho preparati incollando tre diversi avanzi di carta patterned sopra a del cartoncino spesso, recuperato dalle scatole di cartone del cibo per gatti.
Dopo aver tagliato i pezzi con la Big Shot, ho mischiato i pezzi dei tre Tangram e ho prelevato i 7 pezzi necessari per creare una figura, come è previsto dal gioco: un quadrato, un parallelogramma, due triangoli grandi, due triangoli piccoli e uno medio.
Le regole del gioco del Tangram infatti sono queste:
- vanno usati tutti i 7 pezzi;
- i pezzi non si devono sovrapporre.
Siccome ho usato fino ad ora 14 pezzi, mi resta ancora un Tangram da usare...
Qui sotto potete vedere gli avanzi del taglio dei tre Tangram (le cornici esterni) e a destra i 7 pezzi che ho ancora a disposizione per il prossimo lavoro :D
Tornando al Tangram "gatto": questa volta per la base ho usato un cartoncino embossato e sfumato con i Distress Inks; la cartella da embossing è Fantails by Sue Wilson.
Dopo aver sfumato i bordi dei 7 pezzi con il DI Shaded Liliac, ho costruito il gatto e l'ho incollato. Ho aggiunto un'etichetta con il sentiment (timbro Clearly Besotted, in regalo con una rivista) e l'ho sfumata con il Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.
Ho incollato tutto su un pezzo di cartellina di Manila color azzurro e poi su un cartoncino nero.
Finito! :D Anche questo lavoro diventerà la copertina di un quaderno o un quadretto.

It's never even ducked below the zero degree mark, which is so uncommon for this far north.
